Two teams, which comprise of computing students from the University of Ibadan,  have on Monday, 27 May 2024, clinched the Grand prizes in Computing and Cloud tracks at the just concluded Huawei ICT Competition global final held in Shenzhen, China.

One of the UI teams, comprising four students, namely Rufus Olusoji Adisa, Tolani Adekunle Adisa, Chibueze Emmanuel Ibekwe, and Lawrence Chukwuemeka, won the grand prize in the Computing Track category.

Also, in the Cloud Track category, another UI team won the grand prize.

Members of the team which won the Cloud Track Category are Lukman Oyeniyi Abdulyekeen, Sodiq Babawale, and Temiloluwa Oloye.
