Team Amelioration, the incumbent University of Ibadan Students’ Union leadership, on Monday, 16th September, 2024, has made a public appeal for fees support.
The Union, according to the graphics attached to the broadcast, is in a race to raise fifty million naira within four days for a target of five hundred students.
Undersigned by the Public Relations Officer of the Union, Omotayo Olumide, explained that “the recent hike in school fees at the University of Ibadan has left many students struggling to continue their education. For some, the dream of a better future now seems out of reach. But with your help, we can change that,” UI’SU release reads.
“The Students’ Union is reaching out to the public for support to ensure that no student is forced to drop out due to financial hardship. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a life changing difference,” the release reads further.
“Let’s come together as a community and show that we stand by our own. Help us ensure that these bright minds continue their education, pursue their dreams, and contribute to a better future for all,” the release concluded.
Donations, according to the release, are to be directed to the Union’s account.
