Joshua Oladepo, a 400 level student of political science, Obafemi Awolowo University on Friday, 20th of September, 2024 solidarised with students of the University of Ibadan who protested against UI fee hike policy.

Joshua asserted that the fee increment issue is not only exclusive to the University of Ibadan but a societal issue that concerns the country.

Stressing that no country can progress without education, Joshua encouraged UI students to maintain resilient in the struggle.

“The issue of fee hike is not exclusive to UI, it is a societal problem which we need to have solved,” Joshua said.

“Greatest Uites, please be resilient in this struggle, it will pay,” he said.
