The University of Ibadan is set to participate in the scheduled games by the Federation of African University Games (FASU), with a 13-man squad list, as released by the Sport Council and Students’ Union on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The athletes will compete in chess, athletics, scrabble, and taekwondo.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Lagos State University (LASU) are jointly hosting the event, both universities are located in Lagos.

Camp arrival started at 3:30PM on Saturday, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for the University of Ibadan’s athletes.

Students participants from the University of Ibadan are; Oguntona Abraham Opoola, Akporherhe Blessing Bayo, Oziegbe Promise Ehiremel, Okojie Osakwe Simeon, Adeleke Leo Adam, Ogbonna Ugochukwu Henry, Oladele Ibrahim Dolapo, Ayinde Samuel Oladimeji, Suara Afeez Afolami, Balogun Abdulmeed Adewale, Emmanuel Enyi, Kelani Funmilola, and Adetunji Sunday Lawrence.
