The University of Ibadan has begun the accommodation application process for returning students(Staylites) scheduled to run from Thursday, March 12 to March 16, 2026.

The development was disclosed in a two-page memorandum signed by the Dean of Students, Professor Demola Lewis, on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

“The Accommodation Module on the UI Portal will be accessible to returning students (Staylites) seeking spaces in the Halls of Residence (HoRs) as from 8:00 a.m. on 12 March 2026,” the memo reads.

The memo also rendered an apology to the returning students for the delay in granting access to them. “ We sincerely apologise for the delay in granting access to returning students. All inconveniences are regretted”, the memo added.
