Some of the original document was found to contain some little errors which had to be corrected at the floor of the house before the final document was approved.

The audit report showed that the Independence Hall for this session realized N4,130,500 in revenue to the Hall’s account of which N3,944,000 was realized from receipts issued for Due payments and the sales of the Hoodie.

Eventually, total amount spent during the course of the administration was N4,879,877.

Accounting for the deficit, it was noted that some of the events organized by the tenure was sponsored by generous individuals who have the interests of the hall at heart. Of note, was the KEFA competition and the Freshers welcome which were completely paid for by certain Sponsors who sought to be anonymous.

The statement of account was not available to be added to the report as a signatory to the Hall’s account, the Staff adviser was out of the country and so they could not get the physical statement from the bank.
