The 13th Assembly of the Student Representative Council, University of Ibadan has announced plans to hold its third emergency sitting to address matters requiring immediate legislative attention.
This was disclosed in a memorandum co-signed by the UI SRC Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oludele John Ayomide and the Clerk, Hon. Obi Chiamaka Joan on Monday, August 31, 2026.
According to the memo, the sitting is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju Building, University of Ibadan, by 10 AM.
The agenda of the emergency sitting include the presentation of reports from various committees, including the Finance Committee, Inventory Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Constitutional Review Committee, Standing Order Review Committee, and Bills Committee.
The sitting will also feature presentation of the Union Week Event Plan alongside any other business (AOB).
The Memorandum further stated that attendees are expected to dress formally and be punctual.
“Your presence and active participation are expected, as matters requiring the council’s attention will be deliberated upon and duly resolved” the memo stated.
