Two hours after, the Students’ Representative Council (13th Assembly), University of Ibadan, is yet to commence its third emergency sitting scheduled for 10:00 AM today, September 5, 2026, IndyPress reports.
As of the time of filling this report, the sitting is yet to commence due to failure to fill the required quorum.
Speaking with IndyPress, the Speaker Hon. John Oludele noted that the required quorum has not being met.
“The Quorum is expected to be 45, at the moment it is just 40, we need 5 members to complete the Quorum”, he said.

He also added that if the quorum is not met as of 12:45pm, the sitting will be dissolved.
The delayed commencement of the sitting raises concern about the Council’s disregard for punctuality.
