Ezekiel Oluwaseyi Agboola, a 400-level student of the Department of Physics, University of Ibadan and a former UI Students’ Union Public Relations Officer (PRO) contestant, has emerged as the Chairman of the National Association of University Students (NAUS), Oyo State Chapter.
The NAUS convention, held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Ajibola Ajimobi Technical University, Ibadan, saw the emergence of Agboola as the association’s Oyo State chairman.
Speaking after his emergence, Agboola appreciated those who contributed to the success of the election.
“On behalf of all the new executives of the NAUS Oyo State Chapter, I am using this medium to say a very big thank you to everyone that has contributed to the success of this election: the convention planning committee, the senators, the delegates.”
He further appreciated the Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Students’ Affairs, Honourable Victor Olojede, as well as the governor, for their support for student communities in the state.
Agboola also assured the state government of the support of the student body.
“I want to commend the Executive Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde, for his support for the students’ community, and we want to assure him that we are with him in his ambition, and great Nigerian students will not fail you,” he added.
Prior to his election, Agboola served as the Director of Projects, NANS JCC Oyo State.
