The Mobile Telephone Network (MTN) has announced a network outage in some parts of Oyo, Lagos, Rivers, FCT and Delta State.
This was disclosed in a notice circulated by MTN through their X (Twitter) support page on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
“We’re experiencing network challenges in some parts of Oyo, Lagos, Rivers, FCT and Delta States and our services may be temporarily unavailable as a result” MTN wrote.
Users are encouraged to remain calm for the time being as engineers are currently working to restore services as soon as possible.
