The Great Independence Hall of  Residence Executive Council announced on Friday its intention to organize a Welcome and Orientation ceremony for the newly admitted residents of the Hall. 

This disclosure was made by the  Administrator General of the Hall, Mr.  Adejumo Uthman, during the 3rd plenary sitting of the Legislative Council. Intimating the Legislative Council about the ceremony, the Administrator-General indicated that the two-day event has been envisioned by the leadership of the  Hall to incorporate and sensitize fresh residents of the Hall. 

Announcing the 11th and 12th of November, 2022 as the dates for the two-day event and “LOVE AND TRADITION” as its theme, the AG noted that the first day, being a Friday has been designed as a recreational day, while Saturday,  schemed to be the D-Day is for the orientation ceremony.
