The 9th Assembly on Saturday, 12th  November 2022 adopted the cost expenditures used from January to March by the Students’ Representative Council and other presented financial reports. 

The adoption of the SRC pre-budget, which totaled the sum of One Hundred and Seventy-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Naira Only (#173,600) and a surplus of Four Hundred Naira Only (#400) is to be refunded was held at the SRC Chamber, Kunle Adepeju building. 

Earlier on, the following amounts had been disbursed for use in organizing the Finalists Logout Party,  and Fresh Students’ Welcome Party respectively.  

Finalist Logout Party – Three Hundred and Sixty Four Thousand, Three Hundred and Twenty Five  Naira Only (#364,325). 

Fresh Students’ Welcome Party – Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only (#500,000).

Explaining the variable peculiar to the Fresh Students’ Welcome Party tagged ‘EL NOVATO’, the  House Secretary highlighted that the sum of Two hundred and twenty thousand naira only (#220,000);  Three hundred and three thousand five hundred naira only (#303,500); Twenty Two Thousand, Five  Hundred Naira (#22,500) were generated from sponsorship, ticket sales, and contestants’ forms respectively. 

The SRC however adopted the presentations, on the ground that the surplus sum of Eighty-one thousand and twenty naira only (#81,020) and Twenty-six thousand eight hundred and twenty-five naira only (#26,825) attributed to the Fresh Students Welcome Party and Finalists Logout Ceremony respectively must be refunded to the Union’s purse.
