The  Press Organisation has on Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at its last meeting of the year announced its resolve to suspend weekly publications, as the year concludes.

Speaking about the decision of the organization, the Editor-in-chief, John Dare Okafor noted that full publication would henceforth be suspended until the next semester.

“As an organization, we have decided to draw the curtain for this semester. The public won’t be seeing full publications from us for a while until the next semester. Although, that wouldn’t stop us still from addressing critical issues from time to time amidst the break” he said.

Appreciating members for their commitment, Mr. Okafor noted that the success recorded in the course of the semester, despite being a local press can be attributed to the concerted efforts of individual members.

Also, the Editor-in-Chief extended his appreciation to readers who followed the organization’s publication weekly, noting that the public was responsive and cooperative.
