On Saturday, May 13th, 2023, at the Technology lecture theatre (TLT), Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan, the First Class Edge Community is to hold the second edition of its Academic and Entrepreneurship Summit. 

The Academic and Entrepreneurship Summit tagged CREAVATION 1.0 this year has a theme of “Unlocking Creativity For Global Dominance”. It’s organized by Israel Alabi, the author of First Class Edge. It is done with the intention of inspiring Nigerian youths to build the mindset and habits that are needed in creating sustained excellent results. 

Israel Alabi is quoted as saying, “The summit theme is in line with the rebranding of the conference as Creavation, which is a unique blend of creativity and innovation- two important concepts young people must embrace and embody if they want to succeed in today’s volatile, complex, uncertain and ambiguous world”

Adding further on the activities that would take place at the summit, He said, “The event will cover academic excellence, personal development, mindset enhancement, and acquisition of soft and hard skills to make youths who can be competitive globally.”

Admission into the one-day event is free but students hoping to come for it is expected to register prior to the day of the summit. The organizers have said that they are looking forward to having more than 500 people in physical attendance including students from across all faculties in the University of Ibadan, academia, graduates, and even Youth Corp members.
