Again, UISU To Hold Meeting On Transportation Costs

The Students’ Union, University of Ibadan, on Thursday, 24th of October, 2024, has informed the student community that a meeting to discuss campus transportation price would be held on Friday, 25 October, 2024.

The memo titled “Notice of Urgent Meeting”, co-signed by the Students’ Union President, Aweda Bolaji and the House Secretary, Elemide Daniel, will be held at the SRC Chamber by 4pm.

The meeting will have in attendance Hall Chairpersons, Faculty Presidents, UI’SU Complaints Committee Tasks Force, Students’ Union Executives, among selected others.

“This is to inform you that a meeting has been scheduled to discuss the following Agenda; Transportation Price on campus, any other business,” the memo reads.

“Kindly make arrangements to attend punctually as the meeting would be starting by 4pm on dot. Thank you!,” the memo concluded.

Recall that in September the Students’ Union leadership rejected increment in transportation prices.
