The University of Ibadan Women Society (UIWS) organized an annual end-of-the-year party for children of university staff members.

The event which held on Thursday, 19th December, 2024, aimed at fostering a sense of togetherness among the children within the university community, as well as bring joy to their faces.

Dr. Yemisi Adebowale, President of the UIWS and wife of the Vice-Chancellor, commended the society’s members for their efforts in organizing the party. She also expressed gratitude to the university management for their support.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode Adebowale, assured the UIWS of the university’s continued support. He offered a heartfelt prayer, wishing for the children to grow into great individuals who make a positive impact in society.

The party featured an exciting dancing competition, engaging games, and free dancing. The children were treated to food and drinks, and each received a gift to commemorate the occasion.
