The persistent waterlogging along the road linking Nnamdi Azikiwe Hall and Tafawa Balewa Hall has reduced significantly following the clearing of blocked drainages.
Recall that IndyPress earlier reported the prolonged presence of stagnant water along the route, which had remained unattended for several weeks, raising concerns among students and road users.
According to information gathered by IndyPress, the clearing exercise began on Saturday, May 30, and lasted until Monday, June 1, 2026.

Although the drainage system has now been cleared of accumulated waste, it is worth noting that the road itself remains in poor condition, with visible damage still affecting smooth movement in the area.
