UI Postpones 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening for Underage Candidates

The management of the University of Ibadan has postponed the Post-UTME screening exercise for underage candidates, which was earlier scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

This was disclosed in an email sent to affected candidates by the university’s admissions office.

“Please be informed that the post-UTME screening exercise for the underage candidates earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 16 June 2026, has been postponed,” the notice read.

The university stated that a new date for the screening exercise will be communicated in due course.

Recall that the admissions office had earlier contacted prospective underage candidates via email regarding the screening exercise, which was initially fixed for June 16.

The postponement follows concerns raised over a clash between the screening date and the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
