By IndyPress News Desk

Barely 24 hours after the launch of the IT/SIWES complaint portal, the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Akinteye Babatunde Afeez, has disclosed that over 7,000 students have registered.

He made this known via his official Facebook account on Friday, July 3, 2026.

“In 24 hours, over 7,000 students have registered. Let’s help you get your IT/SIWES payment,” he wrote.

Recall that on Thursday, following the inauguration of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) SIWES and Intervention Projects Assessment, Verification, and Monitoring Committee, NANS launched a complaint portal for students who have yet to receive their IT/SIWES allowances.
