On Friday, 18th of November 2022, it was gathered from a document signed by the University’s Register and circulated widely on social media that the admission process for the 2022/2023 session would be commencing. The document with the title, “Post-Utme/Direct Entry Screening Of Prospective Candidates For The 2022/2023 Admission Exercise”, revealed that prospective candidates for the UI admission process were expected to log on to the admission portal https://www.admissionss.ui.edu.ng- using their jamb registration number as their username and their surnames as their password.
In doing this, the candidates are expected to pay a portal access fee of N2, 000 and a screening fee of N2,000 on the admission portal in favour of the University of Ibadan. Payment is expected to be made indicating the candidate’s Name, JAMB Registration number, Telephone number, and E-mail address. After the completion of the payment, candidates are expected to print out the receipt and then login into the admission portal after 2 weeks to their biodata form. The date of the Post-UTME is yet to be announced and has been said will be communicated in due course. Candidates are expected to provide valid and active contacts for this cause. However, it should be noted that this information is yet to be uploaded on the UI website at the time of reporting.
