UI’SRC Fines Public Relations Officer, Subjects Him to Community Service

The students’ Representative Council, University of Ibadan (UI SRC) has on Friday, April 7th decided that the Public Relations Officer should give a public apology to the students’ populace and to the 9th Assembly, work community service as a deterrent, and to pay a fine of #25,000 on or before 4pm, Wednesday, 12th April, 2023, failure upon which the P.R.O would be suspended for three (3) weeks.

The resolution was made at the 7th plenary sitting of the Students’ representative Council sitting held at the SRC chamber, Kunle Adepeju Building.

The sanction comes following the investigative report published by Indy Press and the SRC’s Disciplinary Committee Investigation regarding the breach of the Students’ Union constitution by the Public Relations Officer of the Union, Olalekan Michael Ajibola.
