The grand finale of this year’s Jaw War Inter-faculty and Inter-hall debate competition will hold on Thursday, May 11 at the International Conference Center.

The new date for the finals earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 6 was announced in a statement signed by the Society’s President, Neyen Williams, on Thursday evening.

“We reached the critical decision to postpone the Finals by a couple of days after a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor this week,” she wrote in the statement.

“But one thing remains constant: this year’s finals will be celebrated in grand style. The quality of speeches will be unprecedented and the glitz and glamour of the program will raise the bar we set in 2021.”

She added that the Finals will also feature an Intervarsity debate between UI and seven other top institutions from across the country.
