The Independence Hall on Sunday 18th of June, 2023 held a Meet and Greet with Hon. Gabriel Olajide at the hall’s Quadrangle.

The event had in attendance some prominent personalities – Hon. Giwa, political associate to Honourable, Eng. Biodun, Mr. YSO SA Media, Mr. Olaosebikan SA Media, and Olayemi PA to Hon. Gabriel Adebayo Olajide.

The event featured some Independence Hall executives who addressed Katangites at the event and expressed their gratitude to Hon. Olajide.

During the course of the event, Hon. Adebayo Gabriel Olajide also expressed his utmost gratitude to the students for their support towards his emergence as an Honourable member representing Ibadan North Constituency 11, OYHA, and promised the katangites some of their demands.

“Accessibility is the only thing that can make a politician go far in Life, where I am today, somebody has been there before, and I can’t be there forever.

“Likewise, someone will also emerge after me. I’m using this opportunity to thank you all and make it known to you that I’m accessible”

“As requested by some of you, I’m promising you I’ll get you the Megaphone before your Hall week, and I’ll also look into your Hall week budget and make sure I take part in it,” he said.

Hon. Olajide further revealed to the students who are about to serve as corp members how he’s going to be of help to whoever of them that will be serving in Ibadan.
