The University of Ibadan Students’ Union on Monday, 15th of July, 2024, mourned the passing of Sanni Rahmat Ovaioza, a 100 level student of Library Archival and Information Studies, UI.

In a special release co-signed by President and General Secretary, Aweda Bolaji and Ogundijo Dolapo respectively, the Union offered condolences to the entire family of the deceased.

“We offer our deepest condolence to her family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time,” the statement reads.

“Till her death, Rahmat was a devoted Muslim and an easy going person who was loved by all,” the statement added.

The Students’ Union also prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased, while expressing hope that her memory would be a source of blessing to all who knew her.
