Following the memo on eligibility for GES exams released by the Centre for General Studies (CGS) on August 25, 2024, which set a deadline for course registration as a prerequisite, the University of Ibadan Students’ Union leadership announced its plan to meet with the University management.

The Students’ Union leadership also disclosed that the University Governing Council would be meeting on August 29, 2024, to review the school fees as planned.

Recall that the deadline for the payment of fees was initially suspended, following the July protest, as the Governing Council is expected to meet to reach a conclusion.

The release also revealed that the Union leadership will meet with the management on Monday to address a broadcast emanating from the Centre for General Studies, which directed all students to complete registration before Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
