The University of Ibadan Sports Council has called on creative students across the institution to participate in the 2025/2026 Inter-Faculty Mascot Design Challenge, giving them the opportunity to design the official mascot for the University’s Inter-Faculty Games.
The initiative was disclosed in a broadcast flyer on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
According to the organisers, students with a passion for creativity and design are required to submit original mascot concepts that embody the spirit, unity and energy of the University’s sporting culture.
The Sports Council also noted that the winning design will be transformed into a life-size mascot and unveiled during the Inter-Faculty Games, while finalists and the overall winner will also receive awards during the opening ceremony of the games.
“Awards will be presented by the director of sport to finalist and the grand prize winner during the opening ceremony,” it noted.
Interested participants are expected to carefully follow the competition guidelines, design the official mascot for the Inter-Faculty Games and submit their entries on or before August 5, to the designated submission platform- Unibadansportcouncil@gmail.com.
