A member of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union Electoral Commission, Seyi Ezekiel, has explained that voting links are being sent to accredited students in batches to regulate traffic on the voting platform.
Ezekiel said the batches were randomly selected and not arranged according to students’ names or matriculation numbers.
He added that the commission expected all students to have received their voting links by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
“The rationale for sending the link in batches is to regulate the initial traffic on the platform,” Ezekiel told UCJ.
“The batches are random is not sorted by name or matric number. By 10:30am, we expected that all Uites would have received the voting link,” he added.
