AIESEC Opens Recruitment to UI Students

An international youth-run initiative, originally  a French acronym for ‘Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales, easily referred to as AIESEC has opened its recruitment opportunity to students of the University of Ibadan, who are interested in leadership development, cross-cultural internships, and volunteer exchange experiences.

Founded in the year 1948, AIESEC is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation solely run by youths and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United States.

With an aim to stimulate development in leadership, finance, and management, the organisation’s chapter at the University of Ibadan has called on students in joining the organization to sign up on or before Friday, January 6th, 2023. In a chat with IndyPress, the Head of Recruitment, AIESEC, Ibadan Mr. Afolarin Afolayan explained that the organization offers professional skills. 

“AIESEC is the largest youth-led organization in the world. When it comes to youth leadership development, we are at the forefront” he said.

“My professional, personal, and leadership growth has been exponential since joining AIESEC. If you’re looking for a place to stimulate your development as a young person, AIESEC is the place to be. There is a place for every young person whether it is Project Management, Product Management, B2C/B2B Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Legalities” he added.
