Host has emerged as President-Elect of the University of Ibadan Student Union after defeating Tiolu, OMA, and ABS in the elections that were held on Saturday.

The SU elections were supposed to hold last week, but because of the electoral commission’s inability to set up the voting platform, it was pushed to the 24th of June.

The exercise which was held online kicked off at 8 AM, and ended at 1 PM. The results were then released by 2 PM.

Samson Tobiloba(HOST) pulled 3549 votes, while Salami Tiolu had 3154 votes. Olalekan Micheal Ajibola (OMA) had 1065 votes, while Adeyeye Shalom(ABS) had 356 votes.
