“Address Fee Increment” – Students Tell UI’SU President, Aweda Bolaji

University of Ibadan students on Saturday, August 17th 2024, has asked the leadership of the Students’ Union to rather address the lingering issue of fee increment, as opposed to a recurring conversation about students’ loan which the Students’ Union President, Aweda Bolaji was restated overtime in the course of the Congress.

The Students’ Union Congress, which held on Saturday, August 17th 2024, was called subsequently to a letter signed by two hundred and seventy-five students in a bid to address the protracted issue of fee increment, ravaging the students’ community.

“Mr President, please be straightforward. We are here to address the issue of fee hike. Don’t play on our intelligence by digressing to unnecessary matters,” the students demanded.

As one of its eventual resolve, students at the Congress demanded that the school fee portal be shut in respect of the current agitation for fee reversal.

The students also demanded that a protest be held if the management fails to meet the students demands.
