UI Management Gives Students Three-Week Break to Pay Fees, Orders Evacuation of Premises

Following a meeting with the Students’ Union on Friday, August 30, 2024, the University of Ibadan management has given students a three-week ultimatum to pay their fees.

The directive was issued in a memo signed by the Registrar, G.O. Saliu.

The management stated that the three-week break for students to complete their registration takes immediate effect on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Students who fail to pay their fees within the stipulated time will not be eligible to sit for exams scheduled to commence on Wednesday, September 23, 2024.

The memo reads: “The three-week period is to give students ample time to complete their online registration. Please note that the portal for fee payment and course registration will not be reopened after September 20, 2024.”

Additionally, the management ordered students to vacate the school premises by 2:00 pm.
