The University of Ibadan’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode Adebowale, conveyed his Christmas greetings to the entire university community, including staff, students, parents, and guardians, via the university bulletin on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
This was communicated in a bulletin titled, “A season to reflect –a Christmas Message from the Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan.”
Professor Adebowale expressed heartfelt gratitude to all staff members, whose tireless dedication and hard work have been instrumental in the institution’s success.
“To all staff, your commitment to excellence and your passion for education have been the driving force behind our success. Your tireless efforts in nurturing and guiding our students, even in the face of unprecedented challenges, have been truly inspiring. You have not only imparted knowledge but also instilled values and resilience in our students, preparing them for a bright future,” the release reads.
In his message, Professor Adebowale applauded the students for their tireless efforts, unwavering determination, and unrelenting passion for success, which he said are the hallmarks of the university’s excellence.
“To our students, you are the heart and soul of the University of Ibadan. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and determination to excel have been a source of pride for all of us. You have shown remarkable understanding and perseverance. Your achievements are a testament to your hard work and dedication,” the Vice-chancellor noted.
‘As we celebrate this festive season, let us take a moment to appreciate the bonds we have formed and the milestones we have reached together. Christmas is a time of joy, love, and gratitude, and I am deeply grateful for each and every one of you. Your dedication, passion, and commitment have made our university a place of excellence and a beacon of hope.”
