This was contained in a notice co-signed by the Logistics and Planning Sub-committees, Ezekiel Oluwaseyi Agboola and the General Secretary, Adebayo Chidozie Salako on Friday, October 30, 2026.

According to the notice, the directive applies to both physical and online campaign activities, including rallies, public announcements, distribution of campaign materials, social media promotions, and other engagements aimed at canvassing for votes.

The Commission further warned that any candidate or supporter found engaging in campaign activities after the stipulated deadline would be considered to have violated the electoral guidelines and could face appropriate sanctions.
