“Quote Me Anywhere; Yours in tyranny” — LLS President Ajakaye Says as He Re-adds Ousted Class Member

By IndyPress News Desk

Following an IndyPress report, the president of the Law Students’ Society (LLS) and Class Representative of 400-level law students, Ademola Adebodun Ajakaye, has re-added one of the law students previously removed from the association’s groups.

Recall that Ajakaye had earlier removed two 400-level law students from their class and association groups over their campaigning and support for an opposing candidate.

According to information obtained by IndyPress, one of the removed students was added back to the group following the intervention of the Sub-Dean of the faculty.

Confirming the development, one of the affected students, Goodness, noted that the other student, Bukummi (Buks), had been added to the group, although he was yet to be added by the class representative or his assistant.

Speaking in the group after re-adding Buks, Ajakaye made some derogatory remarks.

“I thought this group was not important to you, because I see no reason why you had to go inform the SUB Dean who pleaded on your behalf to be added back,” Ajakaye said, referring to Buks.

He stated that he was not against the concerned student supporting another candidate, but objected to what he described as disrespect towards the candidate from their class.

“Like I said and quote me anywhere on the face of the earth, if such repeat itself again, I will do what I did earlier over and over and over again and you can involve anyone.”

“Support your candidate but respect this platform because where you come from, such an attitude is not accepted. Yours in tyranny. TROUBLE OUT.✌️God bless,” he added.
