The University of Ibadan on Tuesday 17 December 2024 opened applications to interested catering contractors who can provide catering services in students’ Halls of Residence during the 2024/2025 session.

This was communicated in a University bulletin titled, “Application for Catering Contractors to Provide Catering Services in Students’ Halls of Residence” signed by Mr. G.O. Saliu, Registrar and Secretary to Senate.

“Applications are hereby invited from interested catering contractors to provide catering services in students’ Hall of Residence during the 2024/2025 session,” the call reads.

“The application form is obtainable with a non-refundable fee of N10,000.00. Payment is by obtaining authority to pay from the Student Affairs Division, generate remita and pay into the Bank, then obtain a receipt from the Deputy Bursar (Grants), University of Ibadan,” the Bulletin release reads.

“Each applicant should state: Permanent Home Address, Educational Background, Professional Background, Previous experience in Hotel/Industrial/Student Cate-ring Services, Bank credit worthiness (Accompanied by a letter from the bank manager), Any other relevant information, Referee letters from two senior members of staff of the University,” the release noted.

“Applications should be submitted in sealed envelopes and accompanied by a photocopy of the official receipt of the fee paid. The applicant’s credentials should be addressed to The Secretary, Catering Services Management Board, Student Affairs Division, University of Ibadan, on or before Friday, 31 January, 2025,” the release concluded.
