The Administrator General of the Great Independence Hall, Obinelo Chisom Folorunsho, has called on all residents to participate in an urgent cleanup exercise.
This was disclosed in a message shared with the general Katangite WhatsApp group on Friday, July 24, 2026.
“There will be an urgent cleanup exercise in the Hall tomorrow morning in preparation for the Deputy Governor’s visit on Wednesday,” Obinelo said.
Obinelo urged all Katangites to actively participate in the exercise, describing it as an important step in preparing the hall to receive the distinguished guest.

He also clarified to IndyPress that although the general hall cleanup exercise is usually scheduled once per semester, it is being held now due to its urgency.
