The University of Ibadan management has extended the deadline for the closure of the Add-and-Delete Portal by one week, following an engagement with the University of Ibadan Students’ Union Executive Council.
The portal was initially scheduled to close on Friday, August 14, 2026.
This was disclosed in a WhatsApp notice released on Thursday, August 13, 2026, by the UI Students’ Union Executive Council, “The Diligent Team.”
“The University of Ibadan Students’ Union, led by Comr. Adeboye Temidayo (DEBOYE), wishes to inform students that following our engagement with the University management, the closure of the Add and Delete Portal, earlier scheduled for tomorrow, has been granted a one-week extension,” the statement read.
According to the notice, the extension will give students additional time to complete their add-and-delete processes and resolve outstanding registration issues.
“Students who still have issues with their course registration or need to make necessary additions or deletions are advised to make use of this grace period and ensure that their course forms are properly sorted before the new deadline,” it added.
The Students’ Union further disclosed that the extension was secured to accommodate students with pending academic registration issues.
“This extension was secured in consideration of students who still have pending academic registration issues,” the statement added.
Students with outstanding registration issues have therefore been advised to use the extension to complete their processes before the new deadline.
